Community Guidelines

Effective Date · August 24, 2026

Four Measure is a place to share and discover music. These Community Guidelines keep it welcoming and safe. They apply to everything you do on the Service — posts, reviews, ratings, comments, profiles, usernames, and direct messages. They are part of our Terms of Service. Breaking them can lead to content removal, feature limits, or account suspension or termination.

Be respectful

Treat people the way you'd want to be treated. We don't allow harassment, bullying, threats, or hate speech — including attacks based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, disease, age, sex, gender identity, or sexual orientation.

Keep it legal

Don't use Four Measure for anything illegal, or to promote or facilitate illegal activity, including the sale of illegal or regulated goods.

No exploitation of minors

We have zero tolerance for content or behavior that sexualizes or endangers minors. This includes child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, and any sexualized content involving anyone under 18. We remove it, terminate accounts, and report it to the appropriate authorities (such as NCMEC) as required by law.

No graphic, violent, or harmful content

Don't post content that is excessively violent or gory, promotes or glorifies violence or terrorism, or encourages self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders. If you or someone you know is struggling, please seek help from a local crisis line.

Adult and sexual content

Don't post pornographic or sexually explicit content, and never share intimate images of someone without their consent.

Photos you add to reviews

You can add a photo to a review using the in-app camera. Photos are public and appear wherever your review appears.

Don't upload:

  • sexually explicit or pornographic images
  • graphic violence, gore, or images of real injury or death
  • photos of other people taken without their knowledge or consent, and never intimate images of someone without their consent
  • images showing personal or identifying information — your own or anyone else's — such as addresses, ID documents, license plates, or screens containing private data
  • hate symbols, extremist insignia, or imagery promoting hate against a protected group
  • images you don't have the rights to use

Photos are screened automatically before they're published, and may be rejected. Automated screening isn't perfect — content that passes it is still subject to these Guidelines, and content that's wrongly rejected can be appealed.

Violating these rules can result in the photo being removed, the review being removed, or action against your account, up to termination.

No spam, scams, or manipulation

Don't post spam, run scams, distribute malware, or artificially inflate engagement (fake likes, follows, or reposts). Don't operate fake or impersonation accounts or misrepresent who you are.

Respect intellectual property

Only post content you have the right to share. Don't infringe others' copyrights, trademarks, or other rights. Copyright complaints follow the DMCA process in our Terms.

Respect others' privacy

Don't share someone else's private or personal information without permission ("doxxing"). Direct messages are for consenting conversations — don't use them to harass, threaten, or send unwanted explicit content.

Reporting and blocking

If you see something that breaks these Guidelines:

  • Report it using the in-app report feature on the post or content.
  • Block any user you don't want to interact with — blocking stops them from contacting you or seeing your activity.

We review reports and act on objectionable content and abusive users promptly, typically within 24 hours of becoming aware. Depending on severity, we may remove content, warn, limit features, suspend, or permanently ban an account, and we may report unlawful content to authorities.

Appeals
